Admittedly, I have never been drawn to the study of "end of times" prophesies. However, I deeply enjoy Christian literature and I've heard many good things about Dr. David Jeremiah. Thus, I decided to give his book a shot.
Being new to biblical prophecies and fairly unfamiliar with much of the Bible- I am a relatively new Christian- what I read took my breath away. Dr. Jeremiah seamlessly ties current events to biblical end times prophecies. While a few other reviews claim that Dr. Jeremiah did not provide enough evidence- biblical and otherwise- upon which to base his claims, I respectfully disagree. I found this book compelling and his points incredibly convincing. (Perhaps I am not well-versed enough to make an argument to the contrary, however.)
In any event, what I found most outstanding about this book is that-regardless of the doom-and-gloom current events referenced- Dr. Jeremiah does a fantastic job of encouraging Christians (and perhaps even non-Christians). By "keeping the faith"- my words, not his- we will be spared from the undeniable horrors that shake the world.
